I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

The Apostles Creed is the unifying belief statement of The Upper West Shore Ecumenical Ministerium.  Comprised of Christian churches located on the west shore of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the goal of the Ministerium is to provide opportunities for the members of our community, regardless of Christian denomination, to join in worship and service with one another.

Various events are held throughout the year to promote unity among the Christian churches in our area.  They include the Thanksgiving Service (held the Thursday before Thanksgiving), Lenten lunches (held each Wednesday during Lent beginning on Ash Wednesday), and Good Friday services.  Additional programs, such as Spiritfest, are also held.  The Ministerium is also a founding partner and major supporter of The Ronny Powley Center for Social Ministries, Inc.
